i'm trying to find a job in like a medical field...something like CNA or like anesthesia tech or something and am obviously going to take the respective course for it. Is there anything that you would recommend?

There are ER techs and EMTs, but those are only tangentially related to medicine.

I work as a chemistry lab technician and love it.

I worked as a dialysis tech which wasn't too hard to become. There's a few other threads on this you might check out.

I'm a medical laboratory technician, and I love it. I run blood work and I get to do a little phlebotomy as well.

The downside is it requires an associate's degree, which may be more time than most want to spend learning a trade they'll only use for 2 or 3 years. And, I don't think MLT programs are super plentiful, not like CNA or MA courses anyway. But, the money is better than EMT, MA, or CNA.

You could become a doctor, but I hear that takes four years.

Yeah I live in CA and I can't seem to find ANY place to get the certification...or if I do, it's insanely expensive. :/
