I am about to graduate in a few months, and it is about time to look for a job in the retail setting. What are the steps? Please share your experience / expertise.

Thank you very much 😍

You are graduating pretty late if you claim to be in a FEW months. Anyway reach out to pharmacy recruiters or apply online for graduate intern postions. Do you have any experience working besdes on your school rotations? Good luck my friend 🙂

That's right. We are graduating a little late, which is a disadvantage. I used to work for CVS for a year before going to pharmacy school. I am going to apply for different places. Btw, thanks much for your response. I appreciate it.

If you have / know any tips, please share. I am working up my CV, and that's all I have so far. What else do I need?

You're welcome, and that is all pretty much. Reach out to employers now as graduating later than the majority is a disadvantage but not the end of the world. I would see if your school has any career fairs or connections in the area too.

What does that even mean? "We are graduating a little late". Did a bunch of you fail a rotation or something?

I just read it meaning their school graduates later than others. I've heard of some schools graduating up to a month after we do, but most are within 1-2 weeks of mid-May.

Identify a few pharmacists from rotations/intersnhips and a professor who will serve as references for you. Map out area you are willing to live in, and start watching job opening in those areas. You can always turn your CV into a recruiter also.
