Hey, I am trying to find jobs in Boston while working on a post bac. Ideally, I would like to start at the beginning of August so I am settled in before classes get going this fall. I applied at Children's, Brigham and Women's, Beth Israel, Dana Farber, and Mass General doing pretty much anything. At Children's, where I really want to get a job, I applied as a clinical assistant and the other places I applied as a phlebotomist and researcher. I have experience as both a phlebotomist and doing research, specifically chemistry research. If there is anyone out there that is currently working at one of these places or has contacts there, it would be great to talk to you and maybe send my resume. I CA at childrens on tuesdays and I do research in a basic science neuro lab (hearing specifically) the rest of the week. There arent any real openings in my lab or in the CA position, but if you apply you'll be all set because there is a pretty high turn over rate of research techs in the summer. Check the children's website for openings and usually there's something open. good luck

You should also try some of the medical schools in the area: Harvard, Tufts, BU, especially for the research positions.
