Hello forum...

is anyone here going through or has completed the Biotechnology MS at JHU???

anyone have info on it (how rigorous...etc), because i am trying to decide if it can be completed in one year?!?!?!

or would going to the my state univeristy and completing a certificate in biotechnolgy just as good for my credentials??

I am a predent student, so i hope that it will make me more competeitive, if need be.

Two years might be a little bit hard. Maybe 1.5 years is possible. I heard someone say that Department of Defense called several biotech students to recruit them into jobs. Also, I talked to a pre-med advisor at Johns Hopkins years ago and that person said that the program is actually quite incompetent with unrecognized faculty members. (which is similar with other AAP programs).
