John Hopkins is my number one school and I really want to go there. Ever since my friend received a full-ride, I REALLY wanted to go there. But I feel like I need to do a lot of extracurricular work and get really good grades. I don't think I can get a full-ride but I want at least a chance.

Do you have to have top grades to go into John Hopkins?

Since we're in the HS forum, do you mean for UG work or med school?

The OP is listed as "pre-vet." I'm not sure of JH has a vet school, so I'm inclined to lean toward undergrad...

Then the MCAT comment above is pointless 😉

I don't pay attention to which top tier schools have vet programs, Tufts has both, so do many schools....
Anyway, to get into hopkins you're going to need good grades in HS, a great SAT score, and lots of ECs... start looking at their UG admissions page... I am sure it will tell you all the things you should do before you apply...

Yeah I plan on doing undergraduate majoring in Biology. I checked out their page and it said that they want at least 3 SAT Subject Tests. And I think a pretty high SAT score is recommended. Looks like I have a lot of work to do.

Expensive school. Imho, not worth it if you can't get a full ride.

3? Sounds pretty high, Princeton only required 2.

On the website, under Apply, there's Standardize Test Requirements. This is where it says that an incoming Freshman needs to submit up to 3 SAT Subject Tests

I don't know if this was changed for this admission cycle, but I was admitted to JHU last year with only two SAT subject test scores, so I don't think three is a requirement.

Yeah you're right my bad, it is two SAT Subject Tests lol sorry.
