Do any of you practice in a pain group that is associated with a anesthesia group. I have interviewed with a anesthesia group that would like to do more pain they only have 1 pain doc that is doing mostly esi and RF. It looks like the group has a good referal base and it looks like a good opportunity to do many other types of procedures. Also, all of their procedures are done in the hospital owned office building. They supply nurses equiptment ect...
The salaries of all partners are all the same no matter if you do pain or anesthesia which could be a down side for someone doing pain, but they make pretty good $$ for gen. anes.
Just wanted to get some thoughts on practicing pain with an anesthesia group.
