Joint degrees?

What type of joint degrees are out there?

I know there are:

MD/JD
MD/MBA

and MD/P.hD but I do not know if the latter is a joint degree or not. How long does it take to do a joint degree? What is involved and what other types of joint degrees are out there besides the ones listed?

there's also undergraduate level combined degrees. At my school (Emory) you can get a combined BS/MS in Biology, Chemistry or Neuroscience in 4 years. You can also get a BS/MPH in Environmental Science in 5 years. There are also combined BA/MA programs in the humanities but I know nothing of those.

Several doctors have told me not to go for those joint degree programs. Reason: your priority should be to be the best caregiver. It's harder to focus on being a great doctor if your attention is split between two careers. Of course, this was referring to the MD/JD programs.
