Did you see the article "Redifining Biomechanics of the foot and ankle"
I learned in Functional Orthopedics that the ankle axis of motion was deviated from all 3 planes and the only reason that the motion appears as mostly only PF and DF is because of soft tissue and bone blockage. (I'm trying to keep this short and not write a book - reason for brevity)
This article is saying that the ankle axis of motion should be redifined as tri-planar - I thought it already was.
Let me know your thoughts.
