I was just wondering what journals that everyone follows on here. Below are what I look at and read every week.

The Lancet
NEJM
JAMA
Archives of Internal Medicine
Annals of Internal Medicine
The Medical Letter
Pharmacist Letter
FDA - Medwatch (not a journal I know)
Pharmalot (Blog)
BMJ
Medscape (Articles of Interest)

My favorite is the Medical Letter which I think is published every two weeks because it really condenses whats happening with medications down. Any suggestions for good reads?

Your school must be pretty easy if you've got time to read all of those every week.

I think the OP is kinda over doing it. But if you have time and are really dedicated to the profession, more power to you.

My fave is Pharmacist Letter. I occasionally real pharmacynews and drugtopics

By no means do I read anything on a weekly basis, but im sure I will during rotations in order to get some good talking points and conversations going.

Professionally:
FDA Medwatch (occasionally)
Pharmacist's Letter (occasionally)

Cochrane Reviews (regularly for class) -- Has basically everything you could ever want. I feel like if everyone in medical practice read their top 10, the world would be a better place.

On a more personal or recreational level,

I check out JAMA semi regularly. I sometimes think of it as the newsweek or USA today of medical journals, light and easy to read, has good summaries of the big ticket items, some interesting slant and updates about culture and non clinical aspects, the editors will never really BORE you, and isn't too tough to pick up casually.

I also check out medpagetoday at least several times daily. The webpage is less professional in design/appearance than medscape but seems to typically cover a broader and more interesting range of topics.

If you are looking for good reads, I'd check out Pharmacotherapy

Edit: Just realized you were heading to med school. In which case, I will refrain from suggesting that you are reading too many journals
