hi, i am a dentist from india..
and i really wanted to start a thread on what are the procedures required for indian students before they take up the nbde exams and the difficulties they face.. It is a rather complicated process so any kind of help is appreciated..
i'm having difficulty with discerning what documents the ECE requires for its evaluation to be complete.. they have requested for original documents in a sealed envelope. As everyone knows giving up your original documents is not a small deal.. so this is where i wonder.. do we have tp request for another set of original documents from the university in a sealed envelope and mail them??? or photocopies of the original which is freshly attested from our university is fine.

Well. I did call them. They kept me on hold for ten minutes. And it is expensive to call the US from India. I left a message and I have mailed them. The mail they haven't mentioned clearly what they want. Hence I'm asking people who have already done this.

You can send university attested copies instead of original documents. Read the website carefully.

Is it compulsory to send your degree certificate for ECE evaluation? What if you have graduated but havent received the degree certificate yet? It may almost take a year for my degree certificate to arrive. Can i still have my documents evaluated and apply to give the nbde part 1?

You must have a provisional degree which you got with the completion of internship.

Get the transcripts from your university get it notarized and send it to ece.

Hi...i have also done my BDS and MDS from india..i need to get my ECE evaluation done..which one do i need to select.."Course by Course" or "High School and University level Course by Course"?

i sent them school original transcript and all the xerox copies from clas 10 th to graduation
thats it they didnt ask for anythingelse it took around 1.5 month to get hard copy report at my address in india
send them by normal post it will cost you rs 100 max
it will reach there in two weeks
if you send by speed post it would cost you 600 by courier 2500 this will reach by one week. thats the irony of our system normal post in india is not guaranteed but send it to usa it will be delivered sure shot.
another thing addresse is po box so courier n speed post dnt deliver to po box as reciever sign is required so go for normal post save money
