My friend has an enlarging (6mm, sort of blebbing horizontally), newly sore/ red chalazion and I'm helping him look for an ophthalmologist to look at (and probably incise) it. Is this something for an oculoplastics doc, or do general ophthalmologists do this regularly? I'd appreciate any input..

I've never seen "bleb" used as a verb before. Hmm.

Also, any general ophthalmologist likely can take care of this.

blebbing .. it's descriptive 🙄
thanks. found my friend an oculoplastics/ general ophthalmologist off the aao site
