260/99

UW 2nd run thru - 89%

NBME6 before dedicated studying - 244
NBME7 and UWSA#2 after 2 passes of FA and RR - both 264

Link was available around 8AM Pacific

250/99

I am so stoked!

Other data: 71% correct UWORLD. All timed/random blocks of 48q.

NBME 7 predicted 251, 10 days out. UWSA-2 predicted 257, 7 days out. NBME 6 predicted 236, 2 days out (I was psyching myself out and feeling like poo that whole week leading up to the test, luckily I got my mojo back after NBME 6).

So, I am a believer of the magic formula for UWORLD % correct, all timed random blocks of 48 done for the first time during your dedicated study peroid.

2.3 x %correct in UWORLD + 84 = your score

It was pretty darn close to my actual score.

UWSA 1 (4 wks out) - 244
UWSA 2 (2 wks out) - 238
NBME 6 (1 wk out) - 238
NBME 7 (day before) - 238

Real deal - 240+/99!
Didn't expect to gain points on test day, but I'm super happy with my score. Good luck everyone!

Passed. Awful score - just scraped through. Not surprising giving some of the gaps in my knowledge. (I didn't give myself enough time to prepare - pregnancy-related issues and then baby dramas...I haven't had more than three hours continuous sleep since November.)

However I am now ECFMG certified as I did Step 1 after CS and CK. (I went to Med school in the UK and worked there for a year.)

Step 1 is waaayyyyy harder than the others.

Well done to all the high scorers. 🙂

Holy crap I just realized that my score is exactly what would have been predicted by that formula!

The formula overpredicted my score by just under 2 points:

UWorld avg: 76%
NBME1 (before studying): 212
UWSA 1 (4 weeks before exam): 245
UWSA 2 (2 weeks before exam): 261

Actual score: 257/99 😀

Thanks

Still no score for me 🙁 guess it will be next Wednesday...
Congrats to everyone who got their scores!!

NBME 6: 255
USMLE World practice exams 1 and 2: both were low 260s
USMLE World 2nd pass through: 90%ish

Real deal: 255/99!!!! Stoked! NBME 6 was right on!

I'm currently in the process of consoling 4 friends who are trying to access their scores and they keep getting error messages. This is so sad!

240/99!!!

I was very pleased with my score. I was so nervous to open the document but when I did my jaw dropped. Interestingly, I achieved the exact same score on NBME 6 about a month before I took the exam. Good luck to all of those still waiting and congratulations to all those who have already recieved their scores!!

Site is still not working....luckily our school posted our scores on our internal student portal. Sure hope they typed them in correctly ; )

261/99 Huge Load off my shoulders,
UW 83% avg. didn't quite finish, 85% completed
Nbme 2 266
Nbme 5 262
Nbme 7 258

I passed, which in itself is a great accomplishment. Unfortunately, I surprisingly did lower than my last couple of NBME practice tests told me. I might ask them to recheck, but it is probably a waste of money.

Oh well, time to move my focus on to my rotations and Step 2.

Best of luck to everyone else who gets their scores today.

255/99.

Definitely relieved after my test day experience, but I felt like I should've been higher on the real thing just because I was scoring 254 on UWSA1 after about a week and a half of studying. I think at some point I kept learning new stuff and forgetting old stuff at an equal rate.

I'll post more later. I'm dead tired right now, but relieved that I didn't bomb it like I expected. I made some really idiotic mistakes on the real thing, and I realllllly wanted to see >260, but I certainly will take 255.

Nice job dude, I've been rooting for you and am glad to see you did well!

Thanks, ditto for you man. Your score was crazy, but based on pretty much any time I've seen you answer a question someone had on something related to M1/M2 material, I'm not the least bit surprised.

Awesome job, dude, great to see all that work pay off isn't it?

UW #1: 265
UW #2: 263
NBME 6: 258
NBME 7: 260

Actual score: 260. yayyyy

NBME6 [Five weeks out]: 219 (after reviewing most of RR during last couple months of school, but before my dedicated "study period" started)
UWorld Correct: 71% (mostly 48q/random/timed, but a few in targeted sections), got about halfway through
Kaplan Correct: 67% (finished about half, mostly in subject-targeted/specific blocks of 48.. quit Kaplan about 3 weeks out and switched over to UWorld)
UWSA1 [Two weeks out]: 224 (after about 3 weeks of dedicated study-time.. got a bit scared, only a five point climb!)
UWSA2 [Four days out]: 244

Five-week dedicated study period, but began reviewing about 2.5-3 months out in all (I performed pretty meh first year and had some ground to make up).. did some Review of Path, Rapid Review during the last couple months of school, then during the dedicated study period went through about half of Kaplan, then half of UW.. for texts, used FA, RR Biochem for certain topics, BRS Phys, RR Path, as well as BRS Path in a few select sections.

Step 1: 252/99!

Ecstatic, especially since I felt so nervous and rushed during the test.. now, time to relax for a bit and celebrate!

Congrats guys, I am sure all of you are relieved that step 1 is over. So the majority of you agree that FA + uworld + goljan audio is enough to get above a 220? I don't think I have enough time and brain power to run through RR path again.

ECFMG score was out bang on time (I was actually surprised).

99/266

I am more relieved than happy because I thought I totally screwed it up and destroyed my chances of getting a competitive residency.
