we have a Step 1 experiences 2015 thread that you could read.. it's quite long and packed with people's thoughts and worries about the exam

yeah well i was talking about for july exams, bc if you think about it. they prob wait 4 weeks to give u the results to allow enought ime to build statistics for the exam by giving it around the same time period. otherwise how would they build proper sample size statistcs, its not like they would give you a yr old exam. so i want to talk to people whoa re getting the results around the same time as i will, please share if you have diff thoughts on the matter

Was very worried since it was more difficult than nbmes but got exact score I got on nbme 15 a few weeks before the test. Trust your practice tests because this is a curved test and everyone takes the practice tests.

Took it recently and thought it was insanely difficult :/ Anyone felt the same way??
Yeah it was insanely hard, i was getting 75 percentcorrect on u world and i thought this was much harder, some questions were so ambiguous, what was ur uworld percent, and what specifically did u find so difficult on the exam

My UWorld percentages were around 90 and all my self-assessments were in the 260 range - all the way up to a 276. I compulsively checked the hard questions I remember and so far I've missed 6 definitely and probably another 6-7 more (I couldn't find the definitive answer for those even via google - please be experimental questions!). I'm sure I missed a few more than that. There is absolutely NO WAY the curve is as strict as the NBMEs, where I was only missing a handful - I imagine the curve is similar to UWSAs, where I got around 87% correct and ended up with a 265 (on the real step that's missing 40 questions - that's a lot!). I get my score on Wednesday, I'll report back.

Well obviously this is the wrong threead for u , this is for people who thought the test was hard. How many did u mark per section and were worst or less than 50 50 on?

I thought the test was really hard. Harder than any NBME or UWorld block I could've gotten. I marked probably somewhere between 5-10 per section. The test was weird. The questions I marked were in my strong areas and the questions I didn't were in my weak areas. I get my score on Wed.
