Nah I took mine July 27th and had multiple interviews by October

Just start the verification part now. It takes a while to get that through the steps

Consider a throw away school to speed the process. Aug is on time.

Took mine Sept 11 and ended up doing just fine.

I took the Jan MCAT and I was fine for the SAME cycle...but please don't do what I did....it's stressful....

I took it in August. I think it kept me out of "top" DO schools, but still plenty of acceptances.
