Well that's relieving to hear. What specific parts of trig are necessary for calc? You can refresh on the necessary material in like an evening or two tbh.
Nothing crazy.
Basically all of it...Well that's relieving to hear. What specific parts of trig are necessary for calc?

That all sounds really familiar actually. In fact I think I actually might remember all of it!That's pretty much it... never had to use anything else through calc 1&2 IIRC.
- Definitions of the 3 basic functions and their reciprocals (e.g. sin X = opposite/hypotenuse)
- Be able to express a function with other functions (e.g. sin X = sec X/cosec X)
- Know the corresponding graphics
- Know the most used identities (or all of them, really)
In retrospective maybe that's a lot for someone that hasn't touched trig in a while... I'll let you be the judge.
Med school dont want you to do anything but pay the app fee. If your scared of calc i just quit.Do you guys think it's necessary to take calc at all? I guess I just assumed that med schools wanted it. I'd really rather not take it if it's not at all necessary. I'll check with the MSAR Online but I'd still like to hear your ideas.
Did you pass calc 1?calc 1 only has rudimentary trig and as long as you're comfortable with graphing trig functions you should be okay. i'd honestly recommend getting a refresher on composite functions, rational expressions and logs since these always seem to show up in 1. 😉
...yes?Did you pass calc 1?
Just kinda sounded like you didnt....yes?
I guess I don't; teach me your ways.Just kinda sounded like you didnt.
You probably don't understand, but dont worry about it.
