june 3 application

so i keep reading the adea aadsas page over and over, and i'm under the impression we cannot even start the application until june 3. am i right?

it's just that i've already met 5 people (one being my health profession's adviser) who told me it's impossible and totally weird that we cannot even see the application until june 3. they said aadsas application should be like the med school application (which they can start filling out right now and submit in june).

am i totally missing something?

Don't worry-you are correct that you cannot do anything at all with the application until june 3rd. It used to be (a few years back) that you could work on it early and then submit it in june...they stopped doing this.

So for now if you want to get ready for the application I would suggest writing down all of you info, ec's, work experience, personal statement etc. so when June 3rd comes around you've already given thought to everything and will be ready to fill it out!

thanks. that really helped. i wish they didn't change it. would have been so much easier.

what i did was print out the format from the previous years cycle (before they closed) and use that as a template to get ready and fill everything out in one day. you could have done it with AADSAS 2010, but as of may 17th they're closed..
