If i submit my amcas without my mcat, will my application not be reviewed until my scores are received? I plan to submit june 22. Thus, I should be verified around july 22 as you can be verified without your mcat score. Then, on july 30 my mcat score would just be added and sent to schools. Would this put me behind timeline-wise and put me at a disadvantage? I thought getting my app verified without the mcat helped offset any disadvantage of such a late test late

1) Correct.

2) You will be "on time" as you should have plenty of time to get most of your Secondaries returned before Labor Day.

they won't be reviewed until you submit your MCAT, but luckily your application will be verified which the schools you submit to will receive your complete application for review as soon as your score is released. and NO you will still be very competitive. I wouldn't recommend submitting later than august for MD unless you have an absolutely stellar application.

Your application will still be processed without your MCAT - it will be submitted automatically to your schools 🙂
