Juners who took Online Kaplan Course

Did you feel that the online course prepared you for the June exam. I took the exam and know that I need to improve for August. I would just like some feedback before dropping $1200. Also, did anyone get their online access extended past 3 months? Thanks 😀

My opinion is that you should never have to drop $1200 for a course to prep you for this test. You would be better off saving the $1200 and just purchasing a few good quality test prep books. I highly recommend the MCAT Examkracker books for the chemistry section. It costs about $150 for the entire Examkracker set (unless they raised their prices again)

I took the PCAT three times.
First time I used barron = waste of time. score 47.
Second time used Kaplan = helpful but score = 55
Third time used material from pcat prep class = this stuff is the $hit. Score = 87. If I had studied that material religiously I would have done even better. I bought the material for $300. I can sell it to you for half. If you dont get it from me at least get it from them because that stuff is the $hip, I am not kidding. [email protected]

But to answer your question, dont waste you money on Kaplan class. My friend i took the Kaplan class. They just cram everything in a few class sessions. Needless to say my friend is now in nursing School.

The pcat prep class has more test practice. very much like the pcat itself. Kaplan crams alot of info in only a few class session. I would definately not spend 1200. I am not saying that you cant get a good score with kaplan. I believe that is base on you as an individual. I read threads where people said that the 80s and 90s the first time and didnt even study. the pcat prep class is definately for the people who scored really low 40s, 50s, the first time or those people who want to take the test only once.

Just to clarify, the 300 is just for the sudy material. If you want to take their class you have to spend more (still significantly lower than Kaplan) I didn't do the class because it only offered in the Fort Lauderdale/Miame area. The study material is more than enough to raise your score/give you a good score.

are u talking about dr.collins course...did u benefit from it..how much was ur score?
