I work fulltime during the day and it seems impossible recently to find 4-year schools in my area that offer the pre-reqs. late in the evening.

There is a slight chance to get into Phys/Chem/Biol classes in some Junior colleges.

I'm in California but I will apply to any US based dental schools....So, are there specific Dental schools that will specifically demand University/State Univ acquired pre-req credits?

In addition, are there specific Dental schools that are famous for requiring credits less than 5 years old? I've taken all my prereqs within the last 6 years except general physics (because I took the engineering based 3 semester sequence over 8 years ago.

Thank you.

Yes. some schools will not take prereqs from community/junior colleges.

Others limit the number of units. Some have no issue all as long as they are accepted at some 4 year university.

If you buy the ADEA guide book they have all the schools listed and what they accept and don't accept. or you have to visit each school's website.

Tufts and Boston are two of the schools that DO NOT ACCEPT CC credits. Most have a limit. I have CC credits myself, but I'm applying there anyway and stated on my application I am going to retake the CC classes at my University.
