Did you take the MCAT without Orgo?

i plan on taking it this summer in august

You can apply without completing them...they just have to be done by the time you matriculate into med school in the following fall.

I think it is also important to note that you will be at a significant disadvantage in taking the MCATs without first having taken organic chemistry I and most of organic chemistry II.

you're probably right about that im probably going to take orgo in the summer but not get the grades for it because ill def do bad. ill take it senior year. im only saying this because my advisor told me that medical schools wouldnt even look at me without orgo grades

Yes, they will still look at you. I would make sure, however, that your other prereq grades are really high as more weight will be put on them. Also keep in mind, taking the MCATs more than once is looked down upon. You really want to make sure that first time is a really good one. Anyways, best of luck in it!

ok thanks a lot guys really god bless you for taking the time to answer people. i was really worried about that. ill make sure to do well on the first try and my prereqs arent too bad so hopefully ill be ok. thanks again.
