Don't be freaking out, my exam is in 2 1/2 wks, and I'm nothing but calmness....just kidding. Focus on your weak areas, do released exams. I'm going to develop my attack plan for next 2wks, tonight, I'll let you know what I come up w/ later. 🙂 I would say next week go over weakest areas, and last 2 weeks review everything.

i thought i would revise dental decks n go through the ASDA q papers... do let me know your strategy !

Well, here it goes... up to this point I have gone over everything 3-5 times. I still feel very weak in microbio and pathology. So next week I will review those two sections, after that, I will spend 4days reviewing biochem/physio, 3-4 days before the exam I will again review anatomy and dental anatomy, so the detail is fresh in my mind. This still leaves me with 3 spare days for any delays. In the evening for 3 hours I will do released exams everyday.

Well this is it, hopefully it gives me that coveted 90 when it's all over. I was hyperventilating a little bit this morning while working on it.

Devise your own plan, you know what works for you, revise once but well.
Good luck. 🙂

Hi Huggies,
Can u plz elaborate on ur preparation for DA part. How was wheelers when it came to tooth morphology?from where is it better to study tooth morphology from?plz reply asap

for DA, do only wheelers and compile all your notes from all the questions that u may do. I referred wheelers only for great diagrams as the questions asked in previous papers were not in Wheelers so ended up compiling all the tough questions in my notes. Read Kaplan thoroughly and den add those points which you haven read anywhere and keep on adding them!!

I agree, read decks, than read about any extra info from wheeler, it has some great diagrams on the cd it comes with. It shows all the movement. Based on 2 diagrams I'm able to answer all occlusion/movement questions. Just figure it out for yourself. Don't read the whole book (unless you want to), just read the decks, and use it for what you don't understand. Also read the kaplan book, but it has some mistakes, you'll know where they are.
