its so nice to be able to talk to people who are all interested in the same thing as me! i went to an huge public undergrad where i was one of like three people who wanted to go into veterinary medicine (the rest of the people in my science classes were intent on getting into med school) its so refreshing to have found this forum!!

I agree, although you must remember that these forums are a little self-selecting which can be both good and bad depending on what info you are looking for.

I was/am also at a school where there weren't any pre-vets and the advising people didn't know a thing....they wouldn't even cough up the money to buy the Admin Reqs book. Those advisors drove me insane...if/when I do get in to vet school I'm going to make sure I leave my contact info so I can help other students there so they don't have to go through some of the BS I had to learn on my own.
