In my introduction to C ++ class, our professor asked us to turn on our PC and start an assignment.
Next to me was sitting this one guy; once he turned on his PC, he saw on his screen PRESS ANY KEY. He patted me on my shoulder and asked me ?Where is any key??, desperately searching for ANY KEY on his keyboard.
I told him that he just had to press any key on his keyboard , and I started laughing. I felt bad afterwards; I guess he is not too familiar with computers, not to mention the language barrier.

Sorry... no funny stories yet. Hmm we have one girl in our class that refuses to go into the lab with cadavers. I think cadavers are cool.
We have a prof that likes to keep the class interested with illicit substances hehe.

We don't have cadaver lab, and I thought that was kind of odd. Who else doesn't have cadaver lab in pharm school?

VCU has a whole medical campus... medical, dental, nursing, allied health etc including a hospital. When we do gross anatomy we get to look at the cadavers that the med students finished with. Lucky us. I jumped the gun and went to see them with a dent student friend. Cool experience.

They told us at orientation that they stopped using cadavers a couple of years ago. It didn't really help the students any more than using good anatomy computer software. Also, many students did not like the experience. We had a person pass out last week just from watching a movie!
I was the designated 'tomer' in my gross lab, I got to cut the head in half sagitally and the abdomen transverse. It was waaaaaay cool. Unfortunately, that's about all the enjoyment i got out of it. Memorizing that stuff sucks in a bad way.
