Just cant cross 65% mark in cumulative score in UWorld

Mine is the exact same. Hit back to back 80's last week followed by back to back 40's. Sucks, big time. I took NBME 7 yesterday though and got a 234. My goal is to stay consistent with that.

I am in the exact same spot. I was up to 66% there for a moment and then back down to a 65%. Can't seem to get that up. Ill inevitably get a 80% and then BAM, follow it up with a 50%. Frustrating. I just take heart in the fact that the average is like a 55% so, 10% above the average is doing alright I think.

I feel ya... I was at 67% for the longest time... then integrated more biochem... and since I was avoiding those, I have plenty left so I had 30/46 in one block... and that ONE block brought my overall down to 65%... it was brutal.... will bring it back up, no worries!!! Just keep at it.... learn from it, don't let it break you

I hear you and a sawtooth pattern is atrial flutter. Whoa too much Uworld for me!

I think everybody has a similar experience. My average had a downward pattern that was very distressing as I did it. Just keep on doing them and make sure you read and understand the answers.

How much cumulative time do you'se spend on UWorld, would you say? Like per day or week? I'm just curious how it stacks up in terms of yield compared to hours of FA or anything else...

Ahahaha.. we're score twins 😉

My average cumulative is flat-lining at 65%. On topics I'm good at, I can hit upper 70s.. but I'll follow that up with terrible score in anatomy or something. So overall, it is saw-tooth. lol

I guess I just need to work on those weaker areas!

same situation here. started very low (30%) because I started with biochemistry which I'm very weak at. After better scores I have now an average of 53% with 80% UW completed. I get blocks with 70%, sometimes 40% but the majority of the blocks I get 50-60%. Though it is very frustrating to get a 30% like I got today. It happens when there is too much pharm there. But I'm an optimist so I don't care about my scores, I use UW mainly for learning purposes and I only did one reading in FA and this is my first pass in UW, so until october 27th I have plenty of time to increase my knowledge and get better scores.

For me.. what makes it worse is that there are quite a few questions where I manage to guess correctly (of course after narrowing it down to 2 or 3)...

I am wondering though... do you guys manage to go back and check your answers? I usually get through the first run in ~25-30 minutes. In that span, I'd probably have 10-15 that I skipped. After filling the remaining answers in, I still have ~5 minutes. But since this is just practice, I don't bother going back and checking. I usually go through the questions ONCE and that's it.

my uworld graph is def sawtooth as well. I was generally getting in upper 60's, now i'm on average getting around low 50's. It is driving me crazy, test is in 4 days, I have considered stopping doing questions all together because it is just depressing me.

Update: Moved to 66% cumulative after getting 74 and 78% correct back-to-back in 2 blocks. 🙂 only 1 percent ?????? 🙁 🙁 I wanted it to move 5% LOL !!
