what do you guys think about the 'affirmative action' protests in india? do you think they are doing the right thing by having 27% of their seats for the lower caste?

in 21st century, in a country claiming to be democrtaic, in a country being so proud of its techological advances, YOU STILL HAVE a notion of "lower caste" ?!?
do you guys know what democracy means ? equality of humans ?
