In any of your med school classes do the profs or students ever bring up any other healthcare feilds and discuss them? Like, what if a student wanted to know about chiropractic? Would this student be shuned by his fellow students and teachers?

Also, if anyone has been told anything by theor med schools about such feilds as chiropractic, i'd be very interested to see what was said.

Thank you!!

at my school we have an interest group called integrative medicine where we have lecture series (for credit too) on alternative (i.e. nonallopathic) medicine. We are trying to have it integrated into the regular curriculum currently as we are the largest interest group so obviously theres alot of interest in it.

We've had a PT, a traditional chinese medicine practioner, a yoga teacher, a psychologist, and a chiropractor give lectures/talks through our coursework.
