Well, I think the hardest part about it was just being motivated to go back on the second day and pray that my car wasn't going to break down. Overall, the test was sorta vague on a lot of the questions but I thought it was easier than Step II. Of course I have another 18 months of clinical medicine under my belt. The CCS cases were really easy. Much easier than I thought they would be. I didn't get anything vague at all. Pretty much everything on the CCS I managed at least a couple times during the last year in my residency so it was like second nature. I figured I'd write this for anyone who cares before I forget about it. I studied way, way way too much for this exam and I thought the best prep (besides a year of clinical medicine) was probably those blueprint clinical case books and Q-bank if you have time. I used the boards and wards book pretty heavily as well and it actually helped me get a Niemann-Pick vignette with 4 questions about it...I couldn't believe they had this. That was the only real zebra besides a couple questions on rabies presentation and anthrax. Everything else was pretty much bread and butter medicine.
