When do people usually take DAT?

after 2nd year? or 3rd year?

and also, how many times can we take it?

I think it's best to take it after you have taken Bio, General chem, Organic chem, Physiology(?)
The ADA says we can take it 3 times, if you need to take more than 3 times, you must show prove that you have applied to Dental schools or that they asked you to retake it.

take the DAT, preferably before you apply. That way when you apply, your application will be completed.

So, for example, if your applying this coming summer (say june), you should have taken it around or before that time.
