That CARS section is so bad. I honestly don't know if I should retake it. I'm ashamed that I did that poorly on it. Is this something I should be concerned about?

Is this a drop from your practice test CARS? It's weird cause your P/S is good (which is kinda of like CARS lite)

The decision to retake or not depends on your gpa, if you're applying MD/DO etc

1. Don’t be ashamed that your score came out the way it did. One test does not define your worth nor your abilities / future abilities as a physician. It’s a test - a hard test - nothing more. It’s ok to be disappointed but don’t feel ashamed.
2. Your CP and PS scores are excellent.
3. As the poster above mentioned a retake will depend on what your goals are. A sub 125 subsection score can trigger auto screen mechanisms at schools that have minimum score/sub score requirements. You can find this info on the admissions websites. If the schools you want to apply to have minimum score cutoffs a retake is warranted. That being said, when my students talk to me about retaking the mcat, I recommend taking 2-3 months off before starting to study again. One needs time to clear their head and process disappointment. If you think you can score 515+ on your retake, I would say go for it. However, you're solid for DO schools and maybe a few MD programs, as long as your other stats are good. Also, if you have a memorable story on your personal statement and secondaries, that can really help you distinguish yourself from others. Just apply broadly, if you're not going to retake.

I didnt really take any practice tests, i took 1 kaplan one and that was it. My GPA is a 3.44, i double majored in biochemistry and biology

Yeah, send me a DM. There are some things that you can do to better prepare for a retake, the first of which is doing all AAMC FL exams.
