hi folks, i got nb2 scores today, got 87. noty bad at all!! but i m confused coz in most subjects i scored less than 75 . so i m wondering, if nb2 has similar rules as nb1... coz u need 75 in indivdual subject to pass in nb1. my ques is, is it the same for nb2?? this ques is killing me. also... the score card for nb2 mentions 'PASS' in the status column. but what about the subjects i scored less than 75? also, i have scored more than the national avg in 8 subjects and less thgan national avg in 2 subjects. plz help guys... i m worried coz i m in India now and if i have flunked, the i will have to come to USA again and re-appear in nb2.. plzzzz help.
thanks in advance

HEY MKOT !
Awesome score ! Great Job buddy !
You did some hard work for that score, and it sure did pay off !
I am just wondering ?
Scores do not show on your part 2 report.
How do you know how much you scored ?
You should only be able to tell whether you scored Higher than, At or Below the national average.
Why are you confusing yourself ? If it says pass in the status column, then you passed all of it !! There is no re-examination in part 2.
If it says you got %87, then you infact got %87 !! They are not pulling your leg !
Now go enjoy the rest of your vacation !
GOOD LUCK !!

Congrats !
If possible, have your mom scan the result page and e-mail it to you so you can have a blast !
Let's put it this way. %87 on part II is much better than your %90 on part I ! You only get better !
Great JOB !
ENJOY !

jojo here
Congrats dude 👍
U might wanna check with ADA, as far as I know each subject has to be over 75 or maybe they made a mistake, then don't call because they might recognize their mistake and make you retake step 2, well it's up to you !
And another thing, before the scoring system for step 2 was L=lower than average, A=average and H=higher than average, the scoring system recently been changed to the step 1 scoring system, meaning numbers, 75 representing the passing score.
Good luck to you.
Annnnd jojo out

Hey Mkot, you are passed, don't worry about the score, nowadays, score patten has been changed, they are also disclosing how much you had scored in individual subjects, if you had the average 75 or above , you are passed NB-2, Its a percentile score same like part-I, eg. if you had answered 65 % or above in one subject correctly, your score will be 75 % or more in that subject, means you are passed in that subject, and Cheer up, and have a party, 87 % is a amazing score, i wish i can get atleast 80 above in part-II.

hi mkot ,

COngratulations on ur achievement . Im not very sure abt wot u hav asked over here, but wanted to congratulate you since, getting abv 85 in part 2 is ezuivalent to getting abv 90 in part 1 , rite? so enjoi ur holidays .. Good Luck ..
