Biological science major/chem minor
cgpa: 3.15
spa: 3.14

Volunteering: 200 hrs (2 years ago)
Clinical experience: i'll have 1000+ hrs as a surgical staff assistant (clean rooms, transfer patients to and from the OR table, take trash out, replace co2 tanks, etc.) by the time I apply to schools.
Shadowing: 0 (but classes just ended yesterday so that's what I'm working on)

I plan to start studying for the mcat next month.

I started at a community college in AZ. Got 3 F's and a D in my first few semesters there while preparing to receive a liver transplant. Got the transplant and changed my major to premed from CIS because I want to be more like the doctors I had. Got mostly B's and C's but had a few A's mainly because I was a loser in HS and didn't give a **** about school. But after my transplants I did care about school and tried very hard to earn those B's and C's. Moved to Alabama, got A's in 19 credits at a community college, transferred to a local university and I graduate this week with a 3.79 gpa for my 64 credits at that college.

So I should start studying for the mcat and shadowing, yeah? or do I take classes to raise gpa (I have like 147 credits already btw). 27 yrs old

With that rising GPA trend (and a great story), you should have some luck in applying. You will need to:
-do well on MCAT (513+ for MD; 510+ for the two AL MD schools, and 505+_ for any DO school. As a reinventor, you will need to have DO schools on your eventual list.
-shadow
-get in some 200+ hrs of nonclinical volunteering.
