If I have a 2.8 GPA, and a 22 on the DAT is that enough to get an interview?
I also have 100+ hours of research, 100+ hours of shadowing, some international volunteer work, and some volunteering at a medical clinic.
Try looking for something like this. I honestly can't remember where I saw it, but there was a stat sheet with the range of GPA that a score would accept. There were definitely GPA around 2.8. However, their DAT might have been 25+ and 500 volunteer hours for all we know.

It's also extremely risky to bank on a 22. I have always done extremely well on standardized tests and was not even "expecting" a 22+. I thought it could happen, but quite possibly wouldn't. I certainly wasn't banking on it.
try to take as many classes as possible from now until you apply to raise your gpa to past a 3.0 for both sci/cum if thats possible
if not apply to SMPs
when cycle opens apply to every school ever.
earlier the better
