i took the nbme test 6 days ago (got 500) and i took it again today and got 580. the thing is i feel like im just lucky at guessing. do any of you feel the same way?

You subconsciously know your stuff. Sometimes I would run across things that I just had an inkling were correct, even though I couldnt figure out why.

580 is a great score and I'm willing to bet that it will correlate to your score. Expect 230-238+. Nice job.

I've seen definitively that scores around +/- 1 SD correlate really well to the real exam.

Not sure about the extremes, however.

Hey Barone, I feel the same so often. No matter what my score I still feel like I'm guessing alot (and most often attribute my score to my 'luck'). Don't know if it's all in my head or what 😕 Anyway... GOOD LUCK! If you can pull that score off (no matter how you "think" you did it) You'll be good to go! 🙂

I agree with idio... lots of times I look at questions and dont know the answer, but one just seems more correct than the others, for reasons I cant explain. Has to be some sort of subconcious response to it. Most of the time I listen to my gut in those situations Im right.
