Just retook the DAT. What's next?

I just retook the DAT.
Since I applied schools with my previous DAT score, I don't know if I have to call dental schools to hold my application.

If I ask them to hold my application, I guess it will turn to be a late application.

I already received a rejection from Case, so i'm scared that I may recieve another rejections before the schools recieve my new DAT score.

Here is my 1st DAT

i know.. AA19->AA20 isn't that great, but there are some improvements at least.

you could let Case know about your DAT re-take. I got a rejection letter too, but I called them and said that the official report is on its way and they told me to fax the unofficial and now it's currently under review again. The director of admission said that they clearly noted on their website to let them know of the DAT re-take. I think it's better to let them know. or else your app will be reviewed by your first DAT only and will not wait for your second one.

Just called Case admissions office. She said, once the committees made a decision, that's the final decision unless i called them to hold my application.
I told them about your story, but she repeated the same thing 🙁

I just called them and spoke to the director. Now my application is under review again!

I contacted Boston University hoping to be able to fax my DAT score but they say they do not accept it and they also don't hold applications !!

Has anyone experience something like this with them before and were you able to convince them otherwise ?

They told me the same thing. but the admissions officer told me she would leave a note inside my file which hopefully will let the adcoms know that there is an additional score to review at. I'm not sure if they're going to wait for it though.

yup. mine went to 'under review'

think it took about a day or so for aadsas to change
