Hey, I just took my DAT this week and was wondering if my scores are competitive enough to get into dental school. I really worked hard in preparation for the test, but some subjects did not go as well as i had originally intended, but I want to know if i scored good enough to get into an average academic school.

PAT: 20
BIO:18
GCHEM: 17
OCHEM: 16
RC: 17
QR: 17
AA:17
TS: 17
GPA: 3.59
sGPA: 3.4

on SDN they are well below average, but for the general population i would say about average. if you look at scores that people have been accepted with, some people do get in with 17's.

almost every school has accepted students with 16 or 17, but i would def say that is on the low end of being accepted and i would not hold my breath.

make sure you app is very impressive and apply to lots of schools and pray for a few interviews
