I got 24s on topscore and a 19 on real DAT. So thats how I feel. I want my $50 back.
Also, I am really upset with KAPLAN. It was much harder than real dat and did not emphasize what was really on it.
I mean, listen, the classification section was 4 pages and the rest of the biology section was say 500 pages or even more.
I know over 10 questions were classifications Q's.
So I do feel cheated.
woa woa woa, please elaborate then how your expirence compared to prep. A lot of people seem to think topscore is a good estimate and kaplan is harder in the science, but based on what your saying your scores were much lower than topscore?

Topscore seemed like high school tests and the DAT seemed like a graduate level exam to me.
Now, KAPLAN seemed like PHD work that was completely irrelevant.

To throw out some hints, if I was taking it again and studying with KAPLAN I wouldnt be stressed out that I got 16's or happy that I got 25's on their exams because they are meaningless.
And Topscore gave me false security.
I dont remember seeing but one question on the DAT that was the same as a topscore other than simply whats the answer to 10 E5/ 10 E2.
now I could have done that and saved $50 couldnt I.

I Am Sam, and everyone else here on SDN has the exact opposite reaction than you. I would go with the others on this one fellas. But congrats on your score, you did well. 19 is competitive, and now you can relax!

Your experience is very strange.. I hope it was a fluke, haha, b/c I definitely don't want my scores going down by 5 points from my Topscore. I'm counting on the fact that the real thing is easier than any practice exams 😀 But either way, congrats on 19's...not bad at all 🙂
