Hey guys,
I just took the 2009 DAT practice exam. I have my DAT on the 11th. This is how I did

Bio/GC/OC/PAT/RC/QR/TS/AA
25/30/24/24/21/17/25/23

I used the 2009 grading scale for this. Found it online somewhere.

How well does this exam correlate with the real one? The QR section almost made me cry. I hope to improve on reading and QR.

very similar to what i got when i took the 2009 dat. your exam will vary in difficulty. I found some sections the same, others harder on the real dat. in my experience, the biology section was much harder on the real dat than on the 2009 dat. most of the 2009 bio section was just factual biology and on the real dat there will probably be questions that make you critically think in comparison. IMO, qr and reading were easier on the real exam but again, every version is different.

I really hope the QR section is easier. Because I had no idea how to approach some of the questions in the 2009 exam.

I got destroyed on several sections on the 2009 DAT (Did great on 2007) and did good to great on the real DAT so I think you're in good shape.

Don't expect exam to correlate closely. Mine was harder than bootcamp on pretty much every section except reading.

There can be a lot of variation between difficulty in tests and scoring scale (my PAT section for example was harder than anything I'd experienced beforehand). It's better to use the practice test as a gauge of how well you know the material rather than as a score predictor.

Since this was an official DAT test though, it should give you a pretty accurate picture of the types of questions to expect.
