Sorry to break the bad news, but a lot of schools have a cutoff of 16 for RC. You may need to retake it despite the rest of your good scores.
Maybe others can chime in on which schools don't have a cutoff for RC and you can apply to those.
Hey I came to the States 3 years ago and was in your same situation. I would call all the schools u applied to. You never know. In case you have to retake here is my advice. I s**k at RC and was scoring 15 in all the practice exams and I said OK I know I'm terrible at reading and I need to come up with an strategy..So this is what I did. I clicked all the way through RC to read the titles of the passages and I chose the 2 easier ones according to the tittle. After that I spent in each of those passages around 25 mins, maybe a lil more....almost one hour for 35 questions.!!! So yes, I was almost sure that all those questions were 100% right , if I wasn't then I went back and re-read the paragraph that talked abt the given question I wasn't sure abt, and re read if necessary till I was confident with my answer. I just had maybe 7-8 mins for my last passage. First I marked half of them A and the other half B....after spending those 20 secs I went back and searched and destroyed those easy questions that the answer was almost verbatim on the passage till my time ended. This gave me an 18 on RC...It's not high but u know what that's the score that really made me happy that day cause I know my limitations...u know what I'm talking abt.
My advice....Talk to the schools....if the answer is retake don't feel down ...u are prepared for the sciences already...Keep doing practice exams, destroyer till u retake cause u already killed the sciences dude. Try my strategy in the practice exams and let me know how much u improved.
