So ya... Took 4 Crack Dat PATS the week before the exam-
Test 10/9/8/7- 20/19/19/20, which is why I'm pretty startled at my real PAT.

Was wondering if you guys thought I need to retake or not. I have a 3.966 GPA. 2 Rec Letters, 1 from a dentist, the other from my school committee, totaling 4 for the app. 100 Hours shadowing.

Good job on your other scores. I honestly wouldn't retake if it was me because I wouldn't want to spend another 3 months of agonizing studying....plus all your other stats look great. Seems like they could overlook a 16 on the pat..but I guess it depends on the school.


And craaaaaaaaap. What happened with the PAT section? I'm averaging 20's on CDP and I'm really nervous about this section because I'm not too good at it. Was CDP comparable to the real thing?

Yea honestly I think it's different, most noticeable was hole punching on the real test being much much harder than crack pat. Cube counting is easier on the real thing IMO.

How did you study for the sciences and how long (how many days and hours per day)?

I started a study schedule about a month prior to the exam, with about 3 hours everyday devoted to sciences. I had watched all of chads videos last winter so I had notes to look over as well, which was extremely helpful, except for bio because its not really complete. But as far as studying the last month went I went through Cliffs AP Bio twice as well as the Destroyer twice.
