I took the DAT today. I personally think I did really bad, here it is
RC 14
QR 15
Ochem 18
Gchem 18
PAT 20
BIO 16

yes, I studied for a good three month. I was going to walk out in the middle of the test. I thought it was very hard for me.
I have a ton of extracurecular and 10 yrs of work experience. Undergrad=engineer
my gpa, i don't know...i have taken a lot of classes at different collges and university...i think i have 3.2 GPA
i know my scores are low but i am not retaking it...it is what it is...i think i have a strong application, we'll see
my advise to you, study destroyer and for gchem and ochem study kaplan
i took all the kaplan exams and i did way higher than the actual DAT
good luck with the bio part, i guessed a lot of questions...if you are a bio major, you shouldn't have any problem...for math, do top score, i shouldn't give advise for this section obviously but i was tired at the end and i wanted to get it over with. btw, my application is already in along with letter of rec and all that and i am applied to A LOT OF schools
i am kind of sad because i studied the kaplan blue book in and out and obviously wasn't enough...another thing i have been out of school for a decade so i had a hard time getting back to studying

I took the DAT yesterday and got somewhat similar scores. I also have work experience and OK GPA. I'm deciding whether or not to take it again in 3 months and/or submit my application. I am upset with myself because I kinda knew that I wasn't ready, but I took it anyway.

I agree unless you have out of this world personal statement and a load of volnteer and extra cirricular work. Also, a very high GPA.

But I agree that my DAT was real hard as compare what I was studying. I thought I knew everything there is to know but apparently not! Anyways, good luck with your decision and if you do decide to take it again, then welcome to our club!! At least now you know what you need to focus on!

Are you definitely taking your dat again lonely sol. They seem really solid to me. How is your GPA?

Yea, I just dont like that 17 in RC, its an eye sore for me. Also my GPA is not as good as like it to be, slacked off first year now I am paying for it!! I also have 4-5 books that I didnt get a chance to go over last time around because my brain couldnt handle anything at that time, but now since I have time, I plan to know what I studied before and add some stuff to that. Thats all you can do!

If you do decide to take it, believe me, its much easier as far studying goes!

No early august is fine! Interviews dont start until mid-late september
