So I was in the first mailing cycle back in June, my app was ready to go at ASDOH in July. I filled out the secondary and had it back to them 3 days after I got it. I called to verify that my app was complete and they said it was.

THEN at the begining of August I find out my application is not complete. 😱

Come to find out on the secondary application I put down that I wanted them to focus on a LOR from a specific person with a common name such as "JOE". I had two LOR's from two different "Joe's", one which was the committe letter and the second from a local dentist I shadowed. They thought that both letters were just a duplicate so my app was never officially complete until recently when I callled and they finally compared signatures and names and realized it wasn't a duplicate letter. So no longer am I an early applicant and ASDOH is sending out a few interviews every day it seems like. Its just a little frustrating!

Everyone has to vent at some point. Thank goodness you're on top of it to fix the problem...if this is your only problem this cycle be thankful. Nothing you can do about it now so dont worry. Hey, maybe its a blessing in disguise and you end up going to a different school and have the best time of your life. There would be no joy if we never experienced pain.
