Kalpan videos with lecture notes (worth doing v not worth doing)?

Physiology: Conrad Fischer is a treat 90% of the time. Even if he goes on and on - he's at least a show. Despite taking 10 minutes to figure out Kudrath was saying "murmur" instead some cancer I'd never heard of, his physiology teaching is impeccably laid out. Acid-Base guy was absolutely disgustingly bad.

Biochemistry: Solid.

Thanks for this poll...I heard awful things about their path, but now I'm definitely going to check out the pharm videos when it's that time.

"go Larry, go Larry, it's your birthday" lol

Kudrath is awesome.

so much this. Genetics guy put me to sleep sooo many times, got to the point it was the first thing I had to do in the morning right after a shower and tea, otherwise I'd pass out sometime during the day.

That birthday cake story was so bad. Ick. But yeah, Kudrath is very solid. He's completely alert + focused when he's teaching unlike some of the foggies.

it's so bad that's why it's awesome...like the "double-bubble" story

"you saw things you would never image...but you kept your focus and kept scrolling down" lol

What would be a great resource for Anatomy/Embryo (aside from FA)?

I barely passed anatomy during first year, so I watched all of the anatomy/embryo Kaplan videos at 2x while following along with the lecture notes during my prep. Embryo will make a lot of sense if you manage to watch all of the videos. I got higher performance with a star and a somewhat narrow band on the real thing. If you're pressed for time, watch the branchial arches and CT scan ones. The heart and GI development ones are lengthy, but they're also pretty good.

Dr. White, Barone, Fischer, and Raymon are amazing. Everybody else are not really worth the money you're paying to listen to / watch them.

I wrote in all of the notes and never reread them again. I must say I make rather beautiful annotations.
