Kansas City programs (KUMC vs UMKC)

Just wondering if anyone can comment on the IM programs at KUMC and UMKC. Seeing that they are about 15min apart from each other, is there one program that defers to the other? Is one more "academic" than the other? How are fellowship matches? and just generally, what is the general feel for each one? Anything and everything would be helpful!
