So I've done plenty of CRACK DAT PAT questions and I understand how they work but then when I do the KAPLAN PAT questions I feel like the answers are diferent and I don't understand why. Please help me if you have knowledge of TFE questions. Any input would be appreciated.🙂

For example in this question the correct answer is A although I thought it was C. I thought it was C because the rectangle underneath the triangle has 2 dashed lines which are meant to represent the left hand side of the top view which cannot be viewed from the right. In answer choce is A which is supposedly correct there are 2 solid lines underneath the triangle meaning that you are able to see the triangle which is on the left hand side of the top view pointing to the left. I dont understand, can anyone help!!

I have the same problem for the question below:
I put down the answer for this one as being A because of the 2 thin rectangualr protrusions sticking out of the middle you are not able to se the back one from the fornt view. This is represented by dashed lines so I put down answer chocie Aa. Chocie C is correct though?? How can you represent that protrusion with a solid line being that you can't see it from the back?? I don't get it. Again any help would be appreciated.

solid line covered the dashed line, so you can NOT see dashed line

You are correct, the triangle on the left side of the top view would show as those three dashed lines in the side view. However, those 3 dashed lines are occluded by 3 solid lines of the triangle on the RIGHT side of the top view. When you look at the side view, the solid lines are the tip and edges of the top view right side triangle.

by the way, next time you can "print screen" and edit it with paint. No need to take pictures.the quality is much better

Ooohhh do you mean that the solid line which represents the middle of the triangle in the first picture covered the dashed line...
