Hi all, so I just stumbled on a free book of the 2002 kaplan biochem lecture notes after reading some of the reviews posted here. Are these notes still going to be useful or will they be outdated/different by now? I used lippincott biochem during my course and liked it for class, but think it's overkill for step 1. RR was way too dense for me, and it seems the general consensus is biased towards kaplan as the best resource. Any thoughts on if it should be used or should I think about using lippincott or just buy a later edition of the kaplan notes?

Hate to bump my own thread, but does anybody else have anymore advice? I feel like first aid is just a bunch of facts with no background, but yet lippincotts is overwhelming. I Couldn't stand RR biochem for the same reason I don't like FA. Any advice is appreciated
