For these practice questions (not the ones in either of the 2 tests in the book) it only gives the answers and not explanations on why that letter is right. I have spent so long and I can not figure out why what they say is right for...

question 4, 6 (i can see A and C being right), 9 (i can see A and B being right), 11, 14 (i can narrow it down to C and D)

PLEASEEEEE if you can offer ANY help it would be much appreciated. I am just getting frustrateed the more I look at it because I can narrow it down to two every time in the ones I mentioned and they both seem right even though kaplan says only one is...please help! :scared:😱😕

isbn 13: 9781419577918
isbn 10: 978-1-4195-7791-3

it has both on the back and the front says kaplan DAT 2007-2008 edition

please look and help, any advice would be great! 🙂

Well I have kaplan (3rd edition - blue book)... our isbn don't seem to match but the pages # match...so I am gonna give it a shot!

for the pattern folding # 11 (pg 557) I think the answer is B....I posted a new thread on this question & i just saw this thread. Looks like we are having the same problems. But seriously man there is no way that the answer can be D....it has to be B

For the rest of the questions I am stuck where you are. I am also confused between those 2 choices as you said.

I will let you know if i figure out why they are wrong.

hey!
yea i still see B as being right for number 11 too! If you fold it out instead of inwards than maybe D could be right but then I still dont' understand why B can't be right.

I'm still stuck on the others I mentioned too. I hate how it doesn't give explanations and it only gives the letters *arg*

If I figure it out I will let you know and please let me know if you figure it out too. If ANYone else knows please help us out I know all you PAT buffs get it so please help us out. thank you! 🙂

I have that book, and I just finished the test. I got D, and its right.

B can not be right because if you fold it outwards, to the right of the white/black (left/right) triangle would be the other two colored triangle. B does not show that.

If you fold it inwards, it would be ok, except the colors on the two color triangle are reversed in B.

Its D. This was one of the easiest problems in the set too.

i'm glad you find these problem easy it means you know how to do the others we're having trouble with too i hope...can you help us out with the other listed questions here as well? (questions 4, 6, 9, 14)
