Debating between Kaplan Online course and the independent study program. The only thing I am worried about with doing the independent study program is having a strict schedule as provided by the online course. Any input on which one is better? Does anyone have experience with the independent study program to know if they give you any sort of suggestions on a study schedule? Any info is much appreciated! Thank you!

I did the liveprep course, and we had access to online lectures (which I think are what constitute the kaplan online course... but I'm not sure). The lectures were split up based upon each chapter of every subject book.
If its the same thing, then here's the deal... it might be a little difficult to prioritize information with just the online course. With the in-class live lectures, the professors focus on high yield material (but also didn't get to cover everything due to lack of time). You don't have that benefit online, and there are a LOOOT of lectures to filter through. Using the online lectures and the dvd's ( <--- which are essentially the same thing, except you actually see the person talking to you, as opposed to just a voice with text with the online version), I was able to get through maybe 70-75% of it. I skipped almost all of the anatomy lectures and the physio lectures (because I felt I didn't need help there).
Its up to you. The retreat program is a whole other deal entirely (I didn't do that one).
