do the online materials expire after a certain time? I'm planning on taking the course, then taking the mcat a few months after i finish the course to keep using the practice materials, but that woudl be pointless if the materials expire right when the course ends.

Yes, they expire after the course finishes. However, Kaplan will usually extend your access if your test date is close to the course completion date. I've heard of them extending access for a month, but not for a few months. You should call your local Kaplan test center and ask them about your situation.

After you complete the course, you need to call them for their higher score guarantee. If you tell them you want to take the course again next May, for example, they will keep your online access open through that course. Their higher score guarantee includes "If you don't feel ready."
