Kaplan course vs. Kaplan Blue Book

HI all...does anyone know if there is a difference between the kaplan blue book and the kaplan book you receive when signing up for the review course? 🙂

i've heard the kaplan course book contains plant bio material, whereas the blue book does not. i'm sure there are other differences that others will elaborate.

honestly, i think both would be a waste of money. the course book may have more "strategies" but every dat strategy is on this board somewhere. buy the blue book, buy an AP bio for the plant bio, buy barron's for the PAT practice, and buy topscore for practice computer exams. This in my opinion is a good way to spend money preparing for the DAT. paying Kaplan a butt-load of cash to spoon feed you basic info. you have already seen is a complete waste IMHO.

The two books are EXACTLY the same with only one exception. The book from the class has questions at the end of each section (10-20) with solutions.

Either will do.

great info everyone....my kaplan course book does not contain PAT material...is that right? and blue book does?
do you guys think that just reading the kaplan books and all their course material, flash cards, and many practice tests are the way to go!!? 😱
