If you attend the Kaplan courses, is there anyway to KNOW if Goljan will lecture? Is there anyway to increase the likelihood(i.e. attend @ certain cities)? IMHO, Goljan alone is worth the price of the course. I have an older set of his audio lectures, but his yearly Kaplan lectures reflect current changes to the Step.

Anybody got any advice?

Gee I'm glad I go to OSU-COM.

He seems like a really quirky guy from the audio lectures...but very entertaining. He's able to describe the most fundamentally simple aspects of the most complicated subjects. I've had many "A-Ha!" moments while listening to the CDs. Is he head of the path dept. @ OSU?

Yep.

He does a majority of our path lectures, and a USMLE/COMLEX review course for us.

Lucky bastards. We have a great path professor here at PCOM (Dr.Fogel). I may get stoned for saying this at my school, but he's no Goljan!
